Online inspiration day attracted many students

A total of 18 upper secondary school classes from 14 different schools participated in this year’s Window on Science day, where students listen to lectures about everything from diatoms (a major group of algae) as fuel to climate change in the Arctic and microscopy measurement methods.

Marine biologist and algae researcher Angela Wulff gave one of the online lectures to the high school students.

“It’s always so much more fun to talk ‘live’ with students, but also a positive thing that we can reach more people via Zoom. Perhaps we’ll come up with a better combination in the future,” she says.
